New Subway Fare Gates, Synagogue Tunnels, and a Tinsel Bikini

Bangkok Thailand in 2001 had a much better system. On level one you purchased your ticket and the price varied , depending on how far you were going. You then swiped the ticket to let the turnstile unlock. You then went up another level to the train. When you arrived at the proper station, you went down to the first level and inserted your ticket to unlock the exit turnstile to let you leave. A much better system than any I've see in North America. We are so far behind the times, we think we are first.
