Ron DeSantis Vows to Fight Gender Transitions for Children: ‘It’s Wrong to Mutilate Minors’

It's wrong to mutilate minors unless they were born with ambiguous genitalia. That is incredibly rare. Make them wait to age 18 to 21 and if they want to be mutilated and they consent for it. Most kids born with malformed genitalia are remedied when they are infants or at least with staged surgical procedures. I think that is where all these sex change operations came from. I witnessed several operations on babies with such malformed genitalia from phenotypically male to female because there was no way to make them a functional male. That's the basis for all modern sex change operations and I agree that some surgeons want to make money off of it. It's a big deal if one wants to go from male to female and even a bigger deal to go from female to male if one wants to have external genitalia reconstructed to the opposite sex. Some just take hormones and dress as the opposite sex as it's much cheaper than having surgery for a full conversion. But then they can't be sexually active in the same why as the opposite sex they desire to be.
