NYC Housing Help?

"Renters" never take care of the property they are living in. I know. The house next to me is a rental property, again. The house was rental property for 43 years. Every time the tenants moved out, the property owner had to come over and clean and repair the damage caused by the renters before he could rent it out again. He finally had enough and sold the property to another deadbeat, who moved out and left the place vacant for 2 years. Now a bum moved in and makes a fire outside every night, gagging me with the smoke, rides his motorcycle over my lawn and attached a hammock to MY fence.
Anyone who thinks buying a dump, fixing it up and renting it out is a good, money-making investment, is just fooling themselves and pissing off the neighbors.
Speaking for myself, in years past, whenever I rented an apartment, I NEVER trashed the place or left it damaged and dirty when I moved out. I needed my deposit back, but the 13% ers and the illegal-alien-invaders don't care.
