The horrific event unfolded on a Thursday afternoon when a male and female, both 13 years old, were lured by an unidentified man into a wooded area of Kissena Park in Flushing, Queens. According to police reports, the suspect is a Hispanic male in his 20s, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, with curly hair, braces, and a distinctive tattoo of a boar or bull with red eyes on his chest.

It was reported to police that on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at approximately 2030 hours, officers attempted to disperse a disorderly group in front of 220 West 42 Street when a physical altercation ensued. When officers attempted to place an individual in custody, multiple unidentified individuals repeatedly kicked and punched the officers in the head and body. The individuals then fled on foot, traveling eastbound on West 42 Street toward 7 Avenue to parts unknown. The officers sustained minor injuries and were treated on scene.
