The love of a parent for a child is the only love that should grow towards separation.
The kid (thinking he knew better than his parents) was deceived by perverts, and made the decision to be gay/trans/whatever. He/she/it brought this misery upon his parents, and himself. Years from now when he understands, and shows up at his parents house, I hope they tell him that their son died during surgery and slam the door in his face.
