Sales Of JD Vance’s ‘Hillbilly Elegy’ Soared 13,000% In The Week After He Became Trump’s VP Pick

I saw the movie last week and my respect skyrocketed for J.D. Vance who came from extreme poverty, a broken family and raised himself to where he is today with nobody's help except from his grandmother who laid down the law and redirected him away from poverty and crime. What I found most amazing about the movie was it was directed by Ron "Dopey Opie" Howard. But that was before Vance entered politics and became the pro America conservative Senator/ VP candidate he is now. I'll bet Dopey Opie wouldn't take that project on today.
