When I was growing up in the south if your dog needed put down you did it yourself especially a dangerous animal, I see that MSM is still on the goofy train

Its an animal, just an animal. The Disney brainwashing has taken full effect when so many are upset about an unruly dog being killed.

They think Abortion is fine but killing an untrainable dog is bad? It is better to be dead than living in a kennel or a dog fighting ring. Dogs that are untrainable and bitters are automatically put down. GET A GRIP!!!!

It is difficult to euthanize a pet, but sometimes it has to be done. At least she had the guts to do it herself.

Regarding "Cricket the untrainable dog"- which is worse: Shooting it, or dumping it off at the Humane Society, or a No-kill-Animal-Shelter where, if it never got adopted, would spend the rest of its life in a cage, or eventually be taken to the pound to be euthanized anyway???? Or, driving down a country road and throwing the dog out. What if it got loose and mauled some kid???? I like animals too but you can't save them all. If you want to get indignant about something- get angry with those people who still breed dogs. We have little local newspaper called The Penny Saver. In it there are always ads for dogs-that-have-been-bred. Instead of buying a dog from a puppy mill, adopt one from the Animal Shelter. There's no shortage of unwanted, homeless cats and dogs that need homes. I've been taking in stray cats and keeping them until they died for 45 years. All I got out of it was my house, clothes, and furniture ruined and my bank account emptied. As we speak, I'm feeding several stray cats that come to the door. I can't take them in. I have four of my own. (They were strays too.) It breaks my heart to see them out in the cold and snow waiting for a dish of food. As much as I might love them, they are destroyers and pests.
